Yogu Time

Brand – Yogu Time

Taste – Original

Purchased – 99 Ranch

Rating – 8 out of 10

Notes – Had this for the first time today, it tastes just like original flavored yogurt. I prefer the texture of actual yogurt but this is a nice refreshing version of a classic. Also comes in Strawberry, Peach, Lychee, Melon and Orange!

Preserved Fruit – Sweet Lemon Chunk

Brand – Sanh Yuan

Taste – Bitter sweet lemon

Purchased – 99 Ranch

Rating – 4 out of 10

Notes – 20 minutes later…still trying to get the lemon taste out of my mouth. These are strange looking preserved lemon bites and have a very strong bitter taste with a slight sweetness too. I wouldn’t recommend eating the whole bad by yourself…might end up with a bad stomach ache 😛

Roasted Chestnuts (ready to eat)

Name –Roasted Chestnuts

Taste – Tuna

Purchased – 99 Ranch

Rating – 0 out of 10

Notes – The first whiff of these supposedly “Roasted Chestnuts” is a very strong dog food or tuna smell and when you take that brave first bite into one you get a disgusting dried tuna taste in your mouth that is not something you wanna swallow. I’m not sure if this was just a rotten bag or if people really like that rotten fishy taste but I know I will never get these again and I do NOT recommend these to anyone!

Vinatural: Trai Cay Say

Name –Vinatural

Taste – Freeze Dried Fruit

Purchased – 99 Ranch Market

Rating – 8 out of 10

Notes – This bag is filled with tasty crunchy dried fruit…the texture is similar to a cracker or extra cooked french fry but it really tastes great. Contains Jack Fruit, Banana, Pineapple, Sweet Potato and Taro. I’m not sure if this is considered a healthy snack but it’ll keep me occupied for a while for sure!

Preserved Fruit: Golden Sweet Kumquat

Name –Golden Sweet Kumquat

Taste – Sour rubbery kumquat with skin

Purchased – 99 Ranch Market

Rating – 2 out of 10

Notes – The bag says its sweet and being familiar with this fruit when its fresh I thought I’d give it a try…turns out it wasn’t sweet at all, it tastes like a Kumquat alright with the skin and all except its in a nice preserved fruit sort of texture. I’m glad I tried it but I don’t think ill be eating more then a few of those little things.

Sarsaparilla Drink (Plum Flavor)

Name – Hey Song Sarsaparilla

Taste – A flat Dr. Pepper/Root Beer or an old version of Pepsi.

Purchased – 99 Ranch

Rating – 7 out of 10

Notes – I’ve bad experiences with plum flavored drinks in the past but this particular soda is pretty tasty, it resembles the flavor of a Dr. Pepper that’s lost its bubbles or Pepsi that hasn’t been opened for 20 years. It’s not something I’d drink more then once but I do recommend this as a must try.
